MAGNETRON-BASED RF SYSTEMS (M-SERIES)

Mainly used in particle therapy and a range of industrial applications. Compactness is a major M-Series attribute. Our systems require about one third of the space of alternative solutions yet still offer around 30% higher efficiency, two operating advantages that especially appeal to cancer treatment providers. Their high reliability and performance also attract many end-users. We provide everything from a pure high-voltage pulse modulator to a turn-key RF station including magnetron, control system and related components.

M200 (also dual energy version, M200D) info

The M200 platform has been designed to offer a high power modulator for our customers most demanding system designs. This highest power magnetron modulator is designed to handle magnetrons in the 2.5 MW to 5 MW range but can also handle some of the smaller klystron models. This modulator provides unparalleled performance and ease of integration and use by customers in demanding environments. The M200 modulators have become a compelling choice for radar and defense applications where mobility demands requires reduced size and weight.

• Reliable modular design results in a modulator that provides an extremely high level of operator and technician safety due to low primary voltage levels. These low voltages also eliminates most component failures due to reduced thermal and electrical stress.
• Lower cost of ownership due to high electrical efficiency, removal of expensive consumables that need regular maintenance and fewer unscheduled stops. The high electrical efficiency allows cooling costs to be approximately half of a line type pulse forming network modulator.
• Precise control over the pulse shape and amplitude allows users to configure the modulator to get optimal performance from their transmitter system. Both peak and average power delivery can be adjusted over time to meet changing system requirements.
• A wide array of digital data interfaces are supported allowing system parameters to be modified and operating data to be communicated to the customer. This allows for easy system setup, performance monitoring and data archival.
